Bent is a for unaccompanied trumpet that challenges the flexibility of the performer. Full of blues inflections and sliding microtones, this miniature work bends in and out of tune with itself. This work was commissioned as part of the 2020 Georgia Runoff Elections Commissioning Project by Joel Brennan.
